This is the fairy tale castle Neuschwanstein. It was built in 1869 to 1886 by king Ludwig 11 of Bavaria. He died in mysterious circumstances. So the castle has never been completed. We had to climb over 200 steps to get to the top. I was buggered by the time I had reached the top, but I was quite pleased with myself.
The view was beautiful !!
